Another quick announcement from the Mod

Okay I’ve been aware that there have been a few complaints from readers that the blog has gotten too depressing lately. I just want to give word out that this is leading up to something, the blog isn’t going to be just Diane moping around (it will be part of it, but not the whole thing). Things will turn around soon, not necessarily in the next update, but soon.

Thank you all for reading and I hope you have a nice day. We’ll return to the comic soon.

A new colorist has been chosen

Alright, I’ve thought about this for a long time. After thinking and testing a few of the entrees I have chosen the new colorist.

The new colorist will be Brandon Sketchinetch.

A very special thank you to everyone who sent in an entree. Picking a new colorist was far from easy, because a lot of you guys were really good. I wish you all luck with your future projects and happy holidays.

New Colorist Wanted

theclonethatgotaway:

Well folks, it’s the mod Joey Waggoner here and I guess I owe you an apology for the lack of updates. Unfortunately I was a bit busy with things going on in my pesky real life to focus on drawing cartoon horses, plus it’s the holiday season and that can get really frantic sometimes.

Now for the issue at hand, another reason why the updates haven’t been as frequent is because the colorist for this blog Kyleboy21 (who also colors on Time Out with Doctor Whooves) is pretty busy too as he is currently a college student. So in order to put less pressure on Kyleboy21 and to speed up comic production, I’ve decided to have Kyleboy21 be the colorist only for Time Out With Doctor Whooves, while I try to look for a new colorist for The Clone That Got Away.

Now if you would like to try out to be a colorist for the blog there are a few requirements you have to follow:

*You have to have some experience with coloring.

*You must keep quiet about the new comics. Don’t go posting the black and white versions of the pages on your blog or tell your friends about what happens in the new posts. In order to become a colorist for this blog you’ll have to be able to keep a secret.

*You need to be okay with working with big files.

*Try to keep the coloring to flat colors without shading (the blog is going for a more simple look).

Please send some of your previous coloring work to the submit box before December 15th.
